It's such a nice day today.
Not sure what to do today but it's going to be outside.
Shame I had a looked at the forecast for Carsington and wasn't particularly great for sailing but tomorrow's looking promising, which is great.
Also wondering whether to upload some pictures I took at some gigs for some friends. They're not great but are the first time I'd ever photographed in that situation, low, changing light, fast moving subjects.
It was quite hard to compensate for the low light by slowing the shutter speed right down but then getting light trails and blurring. But then by increasing the shutter speed the ISO was hiked up and then the images are unusable because of the noise in the picture. Some of the slow shutter speed effects are pretty cool though.
I think to improve in these situations I need a lens that can cope with low light and am looking to buy a Canon 50mm F1.8. As at the moment I am only using the kit lens. 18-55mm F3.5.
Heres a few, I'd like to know what you think ! Any tips appreciated too.
